Job summary

Saint Peter's Health Care System seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform imaging and related studies under physician supervision. You will administer radioactive materials, operate nuclear medicine equipment, and aid in diagnosis and treatment planning across patient lifespans.

Responsibilities include safe operation of scintillation cameras, collaboration with clinicians, and compassionate interaction with ill patients.

Qualifications

• NJ State license in nuclear medicine.
• Working knowledge of scintillation cameras and related computers.
• Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with other departments and physicians.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with extremely ill or irritable patients.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a qualified physician, administers radioactive materials and operates nuclear medicine equipment to perform imaging, laboratory and dynamic function studies.
• Provide care appropriate to the ages of patients in the life cycle (Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics).
• Maintain safety and quality standards in all procedures.
