Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform routine and advanced imaging procedures, support colleagues, and ensure smooth patient flow. The role requires flexibility for other shifts and campuses, with duties including QA, troubleshooting, safety, and continuous education in nuclear medicine.

The position emphasizes adherence to imaging competencies, regulatory compliance, and effective communication within the team and with physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required.
• Basic computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of CHRISTUS Health competencies and leads self/others/leaders.
• Promotes staff growth, development, and engagement by collaborating with management, coworkers, and physicians to create an optimal work environment.
• Promotes physician satisfaction by providing meaningful assistance to radiologists and referring physicians.
• Ensures exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS and follows downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser.
• Adapts patient assessment and care methods to meet diverse patient needs while maintaining safety and quality.
