Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology.
• Licenses/Certifications: BLS or ACLS certification.
• Current license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT) is required.
• AR RTS‑N or NMTCB certification is required (one of).
• If performing diagnostic CT, ARRT-CT certification is also required.

Responsibilities

• Performs nuclear medicine exams including patient preparation, imaging, and data interpretation support.
• Ensures safe handling of radiopharmaceuticals and maintains image quality for physicians’ review.
• Maintains compliance with Memorial Hermann policies, safety standards, and department workflows.
• Acts as a preceptor/mentor when needed and contributes to continuous education and quality improvement.
