Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide imaging support in a contract role in Alabama. You will conduct diagnostic imaging, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and collaborate with physicians to interpret results while maintaining accurate records.

Candidates must hold NMTCB or ARRT(N), have 1+ year NM experience, and possess current BLS certification. Expect compliance with safety standards and routine QA of equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT[N])
• Demonstrated experience with a range of nuclear medicine imaging procedures
• Proficiency with imaging equipment, including SPECT and PET scanners
• Current BLS certification required
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using radioisotopes and specialized nuclear medicine equipment
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients in accordance with safety regulations
• Collaborate closely with physicians to accurately interpret imaging results and assist in patient evaluations
• Maintain thorough and accurate records, including patient documentation and imaging logs
• Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff
• Perform routine maintenance and quality assurance checks on imaging equipment
