Qualifications

• Associate degree in diagnostic imaging or nuclear medicine.
• Minimum 1 year nuclear medicine experience.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• California Nuclear Medicine Technology certification (RHN, CDPH-RHB).
• CNMT (NMTCB) or ARRT-N (ARRT-N) certification.
• Proficient in performing imaging procedures with established protocols.
• Strong communication and teamwork across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with imaging data management software.

Responsibilities

• Perform all nuclear medicine procedures with diagnostic quality and safety.
• Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals under guidance.
• Monitor, test and maintain imaging equipment; escalate repairs.
• Schedule and prioritize imaging studies per clinical needs.
• Educate radiology staff, residents and students on techniques and safety.
• Maintain accurate records and charge documentation with privacy compliance.
• Respond to patient needs and provide post-exam instructions.
• Uphold ALARA principles in procedures.
