Job summary

Adventist Health Glendale is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform diagnostic and therapeutic imaging in a busy hospital setting. You will work with radiologists to coordinate patient flow and ensure quality control.

Requirements include a diploma or certificate in Nuclear Medicine; CA state license; ARRT NM or NMTCB certification; venipuncture certification. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/certificate in Nuclear Medicine required.
• Bachelor's Degree in nuclear medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, administers, and measures radioactive isotopes in diagnostic, therapeutic, and tracer studies.
• Administers intravenous injections and calculates doses per protocol.
• Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
• Documents all pertinent information regarding radioactive materials and procedures.

Education

Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine

Bachelor's Degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent
