Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO. This part-time role (20 hours/week) covers Thursdays and Fridays, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, at Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge.

The technician will perform Nuclear Medicine procedures using gamma cameras, prepare exam rooms, obtain histories, and ensure safe radiopharmaceutical administration.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 1 year related experience.
  • Current ARRT (R) (NM) or NMTCB CNMT certification.
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing gamma cameras with proper injection techniques.
  • Perform IV puncture and administer radiopharmaceuticals via IV when indicated.
  • Prepare exam room, obtain informed consent, and gather clinical history as needed.
  • Receive patients, explain the exam method, and position the patient.
  • Select imaging techniques and protocols to complete the exam.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications per regulations.
