Under the direction of a qualified physician, performs imaging procedures to produce scanograms and measures concentration of radionuclides in specified body areas, according to technical and professional standards. Measures radioactive dosage prescribed for patient with dose calibrator. Positioning of equipment and patient to produce diagnostic quality images. Administration of pre-medication and radiopharmaceuticals.

EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree, Graduate of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Program.
EXPERIENCE
One to two years experience.
LICENSURE
Licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Health. Certified ARRT (N) and/or CNMT registered. CPR certification (BLS) required and ACLS preferred.
