San Antonio Regional Hospital in Upland, CA is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform exams and deliver completed studies to Radiologists for interpretation. Compliance with state and federal regulations for radioactive materials is required.
The role requires ARRT or NMTCB certification, BLS, and strong patient communication; prior Nuclear Medicine experience preferred but new graduates may be considered.
Performs Nuclear Medicine exams and delivers completed exams to Radiologist for interpretation. Complies with state and federal regulations concerning Radioactive Materials.

Education: An individual who has completed a program in nuclear medicine.
Experience: Previous Nuclear Medicine technologist experience preferred. New graduates will be considered.
Knowledge and Skills: Communicate well with patients and other departments. Knowledge of current State and Federal regulations for Radioactive Materials.
License/Certifications: Must hold and maintain (via required continuing education credits) current certification from the ARRT and/or NMTCB, CRT (Nuclear), and a current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card.
Equipment: Basic knowledge of equipment used in Nuclear Medicine such as a Gamma Camera, Dose Calibrator, Survey Meter and other equipment as used in the department. RIS, HIS, and PACS.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.
