Job summary

Essentia Health’s St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a team of diagnostic imaging professionals.

The role includes performing nuclear medicine, PET and CT exams, operating radionuclide equipment, and delivering high-quality diagnostic images for radiologists and referring physicians. Required CAHEA-accredited nuclear medicine education and ARRT(NM) or NMTCB licensure; 0.6 FTE with a possible remote/hybrid option.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CAHEA accredited nuclear medicine program OR completed internship that allows ARRT NM or NMTCB eligibility.
• Current ARRT (NM) or NMTCB licensure

Responsibilities

• Provides health care services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis or treatment of a patient.
• Performs nuclear medicine, PET and CT exams/procedures and related techniques.
• Is responsible for the independent operation of nuclear medicine equipment and for providing high quality diagnostic images to the radiologist and referring physicians.

Educational Requirements:

Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA), accredited nuclear medicine program OR Completed an internship in Nuclear Medicine that allows for eligibility to sit for the ARRT or NMTCB registration

Certification/Licensure Requirements: Current American Registry of Radiographic Technologists Nuclear Medicine (ARRT)(NM) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) licensure
