Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides healthcare services utilizing radionuclides to support diagnostic and treatment processes. This role requires advanced skills to perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures, including data processing and other technical tasks necessary to generate images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. The technologist applies professional judgment and adheres to medical ethics, ensuring the appropriate care necessary for successful procedure outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved radiologic technologist training program.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification through a recognized certification board upon hire.
• Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine through a recognized registration body upon hire.
• Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification as required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
• Six (6) months of recent experience within the last year, or a minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience with no more than a one (1) year absence from nuclear medicine practice.

• One (1) year of experience in nuclear medicine (not required for recent graduates from an approved technologist training program).
