Rome’s historical markers document the city’s rich heritage. The city has developed into a regional center for medical care and education, with private and public schools, and higher educational institutions like Berry College, Shorter University, Georgia Northwestern Technical College, and Georgia Highlands College. It is the largest city near the triangle formed by Atlanta, Birmingham, and Chattanooga.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

To deliver quality imaging using diagnostic techniques to detect and map radioactive drugs in the human body. The Technologist administers radioactive pharmaceuticals and monitors the characteristics and functions of tissues or organs where they localize.

The role you’ll contribute:

• Deal efficiently, ethically, and courteously with all patients, physicians, and hospital personnel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to address the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age-appropriate needs of patients within the organization.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or GED, Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program, Certification by the ARRT or NMTCB.
• Prior Nuclear Medicine experience required.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

• BLS Certification at employment or within one month of employment.
• Current Certification from the ARRT, NMT Certification, or NMTCB Certification.
