Job summary

UW Health Swedish American Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for 100% FTE, Monday-Friday 8 hour shifts with start times 6-7am and rotating Saturdays 7am-noon, at 1401 E State St.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited nuclear medicine technology program or two years of related clinical military experience.
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Experience as a hospital nuclear medicine technologist is preferred.
• Must have healthcare experience; 2 years of clinical experience preferred.

Job description

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Monday-Friday 8 hour shifts with variable start times between 6-7:00am, rotating Saturdays 7am-noon. You will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St. You may be eligible for up to a $20,000 sign on bonus.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited nuclear medicine technology program, a recognized military nuclear medicine technology training program, or possess two years of related clinical experience in a military setting. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

• Experience as a hospital nuclear medicine technologist. Preferred
• Previous healthcare experience. Required
• 2 years of clinical experience. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Certification by ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or current NMTCB certification. Required
• Current license from IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency). Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification required within three (3) months of hire. Required
