Job summary

UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital in Rockford, IL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join its imaging team. You will perform radiographic procedures with attention to safety, image quality, and patient comfort in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires ARRT Radiology certification, an Illinois license, and BLS/CPR within three months of hire. Prior hospital radiography experience is preferred, with opportunities for professional growth within UW Health.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Two years of related clinical experience in a military setting or healthcare.
• ARRT certification in Radiology and IEMA license required; BLS/CPR within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures with attention to safety and image quality.
• Provide compassionate patient care and maintain documentation per hospital policy.

Job description

Work Schedule:

Per Diem, varied schedule, 8 hours a pay period as hours are available. 1 holiday per year. You will work at the UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited radiologic technology program, a recognized military radiologic technologist training program, or possess two years of related clinical experience in a military setting. Required

Work Experience

• Experience as a hospital radiographer. Preferred
• Previous healthcare experience (clinical training during Rad Tech program will count as experience). Required
• Two years of clinical experience. Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Certification by ARRT in Radiology. Required
• Current license from IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency). Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification required within three (3) months of hire. Required
