Job Overview:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs quality diagnostic and therapeutic NM procedures on all patient populations of the hospital. NM procedures are performed in the NM section of the Radiology Department. This position requires proficiency in radiation safety principles to ensure radioisotopes are prepared and administered safely. The NM tech must also be skilled in using PACS and teleradiology, with good communication skills to interact effectively with physicians, patients, and coworkers.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program

Preferred:

• PET Experience
• Two years of hospital experience as a staff technologist

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Current NJ State license
• ARRT and/or NMTCB certification
• BLS certification

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day shift
• Per diem
