Job summary

US Heart & Vascular in Lafayette, LA seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join Cardiology Specialists of Acadiana. You will perform PET/CT scans, explain procedures to patients, and ensure strict radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities include preparing radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining detailed records. This is a full-time role with a Monday–Friday schedule and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
• Registered with ARRT or NMTCB; CT/Fusion certification preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PET/CT scans.
• Explain medical procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Follow radiation safety procedures to protect patients and staff.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as required.
• Operate imaging equipment and maintain records.
• Follow all disposal procedures for radioactive materials.
