The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will report directly to the Manager of Radiology. This person will be supported by their Manager and multiple Board Certified Physicians all working together to provide comprehensive care to this specific population of patients. This Nuclear Medicine Technologist will have the opportunity to continue growth and development of their career under the direction and mentorship of a great team in a world-class department. The ideal candidate will be ARRT and licensed in NV as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
This well developed Radiology Department consists of state of the art technology, servicing a 150+ bed hospital. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will join a department that is known for excellent patient care and playing a significant role in diagnostic imaging and early intervention.
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is expected to instruct and prepare the patients, select appropriate equipment and technical factors, determine most suitable anatomical positions and shield patients according to radiation safety procedures. The Radiographer will need the ability to learn new procedures, protocols and assignments within a reasonable time-frame, retain the knowledge and maintain awareness of changes.
