Medical City Denton is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform quality Nuclear Medicine procedures, follow physician orders, and deliver excellent patient care. This role includes on-call coverage and strict adherence to safety protocols.

The ideal candidate holds NMTCB/TDSHS/BLS licensure (AHA/ARC), at least 1 year of experience, and an Associate Degree. Certification as CNMT/NMT is preferred. No travel is required and a comprehensive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Licensure/certification/registration: NMTCB, TDSHS, and BLS by AHA or ARC.
• 1 year of experience required.
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer.
• Associate Degree.
• (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (NMT) Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Responsabilités

• Performs quality Nuclear Medicine procedures and follows physician orders.
• Provides excellent patient care and customer service.
• Participates in on-call/holiday coverage and maintains competencies.
• Completes records and documentation and participates in equipment quality control.
• Practices radiation safety and contributes to department initiatives.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Shift: Monday - Friday 0730 - 1600

Call will be shared with other technologists starting at 1600 -0700 Monday - Friday and 24 hour call on Saturday and Sunday.

This position is not eligible for new grads at this time.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs quality Nuclear Medicine procedures, follows physician’s orders, practices quality patient care, exercise excellent customer service, participates incall/holiday coverage, maintains competencies and current knowledge of procedures, participates in equipment Q.C., completes all records and documentation, practices radiationsafety, involvedin department initiatives.
