Medical City Denton, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PRN) to perform Nuclear Medicine procedures on-site and ensure top patient care. This role includes call responsibilities and adherence to safety standards.

Applicants should have an Associate Degree, RT/Radiologic Technologist credentials, CNMT/NMT certification, and Basic Life Support within 30 days of start. One year of experience is preferred.

Competenze

• Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures following physician orders.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and provide patient care.
• Must maintain competencies and documentation; follow radiation safety.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs quality Nuclear Medicine procedures, follows physician’s orders, practices quality patient care, exercise excellent customer service, participates in call/holiday coverage, maintains competencies and current knowledge of procedures, participates in equipment Q.C., completes all records and documentation, practices radiation safety, involved in department initiatives.

Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to make independent decisions while maintaining tact, maturity and a positive attitude. Initiative and judgement required in assuming responsibilities.

What qualifications you will need:

• Prefer at least 1 year experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Associate Degree; (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (NMT) Nuclear Medicine Technologist
