Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN to join a leading tertiary care center. Under the supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, you will perform radiographic procedures, use radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure patient safety across in-patient and outpatient settings.

The role requires ARRT state license, NMTCB/NMT‑AART NM, and BCLS/ACLS with PET certification preferred. We offer a robust benefits package and a team focused on excellence in patient care.

Qualifications

• Under guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician; performs radiographic procedures
• Performs procedures with isotopes for radiographic diagnosis
• Manages in-patient and out-patient tests
• Uses Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice
• Demonstrates radiation safety practices

Responsibilities

• Under Nuclear Medicine Physician guidance, perform radiographic procedures
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with independent judgment
• Perform tests on in-patients and out-patients
• Operate Nuclear Medicine cameras and related equipment

Job Summary and Qualifications

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist accomplishes one or a combination of several general radiographic procedures
• Performs at a technical level requiring a high degree of independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis
• Performs test in-patients and out-patients
• Utilizes a variety of Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice
• Demonstrates industry in radiation safety

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support Required
• ACLS must be completed within 6 months of hire
• State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB), or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)- AART (NM)
• NMTCB PET Certification preferred
