Job summary

Medical City Denton is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform quality nuclear medicine procedures, follow physician orders, and deliver excellent patient service. The role includes call coverage, documentation, and adherence to radiation safety standards.

The ideal candidate will hold NMTCB/TDSHS licenses, BLS, and have an Associate Degree with CNMT/NMT certification or equivalent radiologic technologist credentials.

Qualifications

• Licensure/certification/registration: NMTCB, TDSHS, and BLS by AHA or ARC.
• 1 year of experience required.
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer.
• Associate Degree.
• (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (NMT) Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality Nuclear Medicine procedures per physician orders and maintains patient safety.
• Maintains competency and current knowledge of procedures.
• Participates in call/holiday coverage and department initiatives.
• Completes all records and documentation and participates in equipment QC.
• Practices radiation safety and supports overall patient care.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Shift: Monday - Friday 0730 - 1600

Call will be shared with other technologists starting at 1600 -0700 Monday - Friday and 24 hour call on Saturday and Sunday.

This position is not eligible for new grads at this time.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Performs quality Nuclear Medicine procedures, follows physician’s orders, practices quality patient care, exercise excellent customer service, participates in call/holiday coverage, maintains competencies and current knowledge of procedures, participates in equipment Q.C., completes all records and documentation, practices radiation safety, involved in department initiatives.
