Job summary

Medical City Frisco, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures with a focus on patient care and education.

You will maintain records, educate patients and families, and support departmental goals while upholding Excellence Always Standards and patient transport duties.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential required.
• Associate Degree required.
• CNMT or ARRRT-R Radiography certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures.
• Maintain appropriate records.
• Educate patients and family.
• Attendance and punctuality as essential job function.
• Deliver customer focused care utilizing Excellence Always Standards, including patient transport.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs and assists with high quality diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, focusing on patient care and education. Supports and helps achieve departmental goals. Effectively participates and promotes Star Service skills to include service recovery.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide high quality diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures.

• Maintains appropriate records.

• Educates patients and family.

• Attendance and being on time, ready to work your scheduled hours is an essential job function.

• Delivers customer focused care utilizing the Excellence Always Standards to include the transport of patients as

Necessary to facilitate the optimal patient care/flow.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Associate Degree
• (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (ARRT-R) Radiography
