Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform nuclear medicine and PET procedures under the supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician. You will manage radiopharmaceuticals, operate cameras, and ensure patient safety while delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging.

The role requires NMTCB certification or NMRT, Texas MRT license, and ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification with BLS on file. Cross-training options within the department may be available.

Qualificações

• Certified NM technologist or NMTCB certification.
• Texas MRT license.
• ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification required.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• BLS provider (AHA/ARC) current.

Responsabilidades

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform general radiographic procedures.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with independent judgment.
• Perform tests in-patients and out-patients.
• Utilize Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Demonstrate radiation safety best practices.

Job Summary And Qualifications

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist accomplishes one or a combination of several general radiographic procedures
• Performs at a technical level requiring a high degree of independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis
• Performs test in-patients and out-patients
• Utilizes a variety of Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice
• Demonstrates industry in radiation safety

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB), or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)
• MRT State of Texas
• ARRT(NM) or NMTCB Certification
• NMTCB PET Certification preferred
• Current AHA or ARC BLS provider.
• If current employee participating in a cross-training program, all training will be completed under direct supervision of registered technologist. Certification in alternate modality is required within 6 months of completion of training.
