Our Technologist prepares patients for scans, providing diagnostic information and measuring radioactive isotopes. Commitment to safety, service, and professionalism is essential. Join our team dedicated to delivering excellent patient care.

What You Will Do:

• Assist under a Nuclear Medicine Physician, performing radiographic procedures
• Apply isotopes for diagnosis, requiring independent judgment and ingenuity
• Conduct tests on inpatients and outpatients
• Operate Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment
• Administer pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals within scope
• Maintain radiation safety standards
• Review patient charts for exams and tests
• Prepare patients—administer pre-medications, radioactive isotopes, transfer to exam table
• Perform scans with proper gamma camera settings

Qualifications:

• CPR certification required
• State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• 1 year experience preferred, but not required
• Able to complete competencies within probationary period
