Job Description

Join the Leader in Brain and Mental Health

At Amen Clinics Inc./Mindworks Innovations Inc., our vision is bold: to be known as the best brain and mental health company in the world. Every member of our team plays a vital role in making that vision a reality—delivering exceptional care, advancing innovation, and changing lives every day.

At Amen Clinics, Inc./Mindworks Innovations Inc., we’re proud to be an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company. That means every employee is also an owner—sharing in the success and growth of the organization. As part of our team, you won’t just be contributing to our mission—you’ll be building long-term value for yourself and your future. Ownership isn’t just a benefit here; it’s a mindset we bring to everything we do.

Must have current Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification.

Amen Clinics are outpatient health care clinics providing mental wellness strategies to patients of all ages since 1989. We offer patient-first experiences and customized solutions for behavioral and psychiatric conditions. Our team includes psychiatrists, integrative physicians, nutritionists, therapists, and wellness coaches, all skilled at treating patients using the most effective, least harmful methods. We utilize all available tools to promote brain health because we believe a better brain leads to a better life, ultimately helping to prevent and alleviate suffering for individuals and their families.

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will work in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic, demonstrating efficiency, patience, and compassion. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both children and adults, be well-organized, and capable of performing patient studies, dosing, and daily quality control procedures for cameras and hot labs. Since no generator is on-site, the clinic receives unit doses from an outside nuclear pharmacy, making efficiency essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform brain SPECT scans and related quality assurance procedures
  • Prepare patients for IV and dose administration
  • Administer patient doses
  • Process and print scan images before the end of the workday
  • Maintain equipment such as Odyssey hard drives and logs
  • Perform daily quality control on cameras and hot lab duties
  • Conduct daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual safety and calibration tests
  • Manage medical supplies inventory

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist License in applicable state
  • Ability to work efficiently with high patient volumes in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with challenging patients
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to the public
  • Strong time management, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Empathy, emotional stability, and genuine care for patients
  • Familiarity with brain imaging is a plus

Amen Clinics is a drug-free workplace; background checks are required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Intermediate to expert knowledge of MAS accounting software
  • Experience with payroll systems like ADP Workforce Now
  • Knowledge of healthcare or medical services organization is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
  • Ability to anticipate needs and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong sense of urgency and efficiency in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse personalities

Physical Demands:

  • Sitting for long periods, frequent typing, and computer use
  • Use of hands and fingers with machines
  • Listening and speaking frequently, occasional standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 15 lbs.

Work Environment:

  • Indoor, temperature-controlled environment
  • Moderate noise level
