Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in Concord, NH. The role involves performing diagnostic tests, preparing radiopharmaceuticals, and operating high-level imaging equipment to capture images for physician interpretation.

Ideal candidates will have AMA-approved training, Level II experience, and may hold CNMT certification. Supervisory experience and relevant certifications are a plus. Competitive weekly pay and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training program and/or meets state required education/licensing standards
• Level II requires at least two years of experience in Nuclear Medicine
• May hold CNMT certification and may oversee Level 1 technologists
• One–two years of supervisory or team lead experience
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs tests for patient diagnosis, progress or deterioration and medical research
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals to patients as indicated and uses imaging equipment to record images
• Collaborates with physicians to provide images for interpretation to study and diagnose conditions
• Administers radiation doses to patients as prescribed by a physician
• Performs various technical tasks involving radioactive materials and measurement instrumentation

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs tests for patientdiagnosis, progress or deterioration and medical research. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist preparesand gives radiopharmaceuticals to patients when indicated and uses high-levelimaging equipment to record images of the radioactive material in the patient’sbody. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works in collaboration with physicians to provide the images for interpretationto study and diagnose a medical condition.The Nuclear Medicine Technologist gives doses of radiation to patientsinternally to treat various medical conditions when prescribed by aphysician. The Nuclear MedicineTechnologist participates in a variety of technical tasks, tests anddeterminations involving the utilization of radioactive materials andmeasurement instrumentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Level I & II

• Graduate of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technologytraining program and/or meets all state required educational &licensing/certification standards

• Level IIPosition Requirements:

• Possesses at least two years ofexperience in the Nuclear Medicine field

• May hold specialized certifications (like CNMT from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board), manages complex scansindependently, and may oversee or guide Level 1 technologists.

• One –two years prior supervisory orTeam Lead experience

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current CPR if applicable
