Job Summary and Qualifications

The primary responsibilities include producing diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures, assisting physicians, and ensuring high-quality patient care while adhering to hospital policies.

• Nuclear Medicine imaging, computer manipulation, processing.
• Camera quality control and radiation safety.
• Radioisotope administration and documentation.
• Image processing and labeling.
• Scheduling procedures.
• Use of office computers, filing, phones, and paging systems.
• Transporting patients.

Qualifications include:

• Completion of a two-year Nuclear Medicine training program or equivalent license.
• Certification through ARRT.
• Certification within six months for new hires or transfers.
• Current CPR and venipuncture certification.
• Ongoing continuing education.
• Effective communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
