Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for PRN shifts in Rowlett, TX. The technologist performs nuclear medicine procedures under a Radiologist's supervision to aid in diagnosis and treatment, following established protocols.

The role emphasizes patient communication using AIDET, strict adherence to safety and imaging quality standards, and collaboration with engineering and radiology teams to ensure optimal equipment performance and timely exams.

Qualifications

• ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Tech certification
• CNMT certification

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality nuclear medicine procedures according to exam protocol.
• Communicates with patients using AIDET to explain the test and answer questions.
• Prepares patient and area for procedure, positions patient and sets exposure factors.
• Maintains safety, infection-control, and radiation policies to protect patients and staff.
• Maintains equipment and supplies, coordinates with engineers and management as needed.
