Job summary

HCA Florida Memorial Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech to join our team. This PRN position involves performing nuclear medicine exams per protocol, maintaining equipment and supplies, and documenting findings accurately in PACS and Meditech.

The role requires collaboration with radiologists, nurses and physicians to ensure patient safety and timely exams. The ideal candidate will hold CNMT or ARRT Nuclear Medicine certification, with radiography credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT Nuclear Medicine certification or CNMT.
• Radiologic technologist certification preferred.
• Vocational school graduate in radiologic technology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs Nuclear Medicine exams per protocol.
• Maintains equipment and supplies.
• Completes exam documentation and notes in PACS/Meditech.
• Ensures radiation safety and proper decontamination.
• Interacts with physicians and nursing staff to coordinate care.
