Job summary

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals. You will work with scanners and imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort while following physician orders.

Requirements include graduation from a Nuclear Medicine program, Florida CRT licensure, ARRT(N) or CNMT certification, and BLS. Prior experience with MEDITECH is a plus; flexibility for per diem shifts is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program.
• Active Florida CRT licensure.
• ARRT (N) and/or CNMT certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Use radioactive isotopes to perform organ and body scans.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and record dosages.
• Perform diagnostic studies using scanners or scintillation cameras.
• Position patients and adjust immobilization devices.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions.
• Monitor and document using MEDITECH.

Education

Graduate of Nuclear Medicine program

Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)

ARRT (N) and/or CNMT certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
