Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, seeks a Nuclear Medicine technologist to perform scans under the supervision of a radiologist. The role requires independent judgment to obtain accurate diagnoses and a commitment to service excellence in patient care.

Candidates should have formal radiological training in nuclear medicine, ARRT or CNMT certification, Florida radiologic registration, and at least one year of hospital nuclear medicine experience. Position is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of formal radiological training in nuclear medicine at an AMA approved school.
• ARRT registered (or registry eligible) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (CNMT)
• Florida Bureau of Radiation Control registered (or registry eligible)
• Minimum of one (1) year nuclear medicine experience in a hospital setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs nuclear scans under the direction of a radiologist.
• Performs a variety of nuclear medicine procedures that require independent judgement and ingenuity to obtain a radiological diagnosis.
• Demonstrates service excellence at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
