Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• CNMT (NMTCB) and/or ARRT certification required.
• California DPH Nuclear Medicine Technologist licensure required.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Organizes, plans and directs activities relating to patients and procedures for their designated area.
• Demonstrates knowledge of physics, scanning technique and computer science related to nuclear imaging.
• Operates nuclear imaging equipment and related software.
• Ensures safe handling, preparation and documentation of radioactive isotopes.
• Maintains patient records and completes paperwork including billing functions.
