Frye Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our acute hospital team in Hickory, NC. The role administers radiopharmaceuticals and performs diagnostic studies per physician orders, with typical 8-hour shifts and PRN variation.

Qualifications

• Requires critical thinking and decisive judgment, with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine required; bachelor's preferred.
• NMTCB certification or state grandfathering eligibility.
• BLS certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures.
• Processes data and enhances digital images using advanced computer technology.
• Provides images, data analysis and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures.
• Evaluates images to determine technical quality and calibration of instrumentation.
• Processes images for radiologist review.
