Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our acute hospital team. The role involves preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging and therapy, and ensuring high-quality patient care.

As a member of Lifepoint Health, you will work with a dedicated team in a 355-bed facility, contributing to a broad spectrum of inpatient and outpatient services. This is a patient‑focused position requiring teamwork, accuracy, and compassion.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; graduate of a nuclear medicine program.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certification: NMTCB or state license as applicable; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Administers radiopharmaceuticals and medications for imaging and therapy.
• Processes data and enhances images using computer systems.
• Provides images and data for diagnostic interpretation or therapy.
• Evaluates image quality and instrumentation calibration.
• Prepares images for radiologist review.
