Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare in Decatur, GA is seeking a Nuclear Medicine technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology procedures in accordance with protocols and ALARA guidelines. You'll contribute to high-quality patient care.

Requirements include graduation from a JRCNMT or NMTCB-accredited program, CNMT or NMTCB registration, and BLS certification. Knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and radiation safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB.
• None prior experience required.
• CNMT or NMTCB registration required by law.
• BLS Certified.
• Knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures per protocols and ALARA guidelines.
• Conducts quality control procedures per manufacturer, state and federal requirements.
