Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Nuclear Medicine professional to perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology procedures in accordance with established protocols and ALARA principles.

The position requires graduation from a JRCNMT/NMTCB-accredited Nuclear Medicine program and CNMT/NMTCB registration. BLS certification is a plus, with emphasis on radiation safety and radiopharmaceutical handling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB.
• CNMT or NMTCB registration is required by law.
• Thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals.
• BLS certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures per Protocols and ALARA requirements.
• Conducts all quality control procedures per manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.
• Adheres to all applicable policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and accurate results.
