Job description

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced nuclear med tech for a permanent flex role with an area hospital in Marietta, OH where you will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team and be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operating radiation detection and imaging equipment.

  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
  • Current state license and certification to practice nuclear medicine.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency with Dose Calibrator, Geiger Counter, Captus well counter and uptake probe.
  • Experience operating Stress Lab equipment including EKG machines and treadmills.
  • Skill with basic patient monitoring devices such as glucometer, blood pressure monitors, and pulse oximeter.
  • Experience in diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures and participation in on-call rotations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital diagnostic imaging environment and provide care appropriate to the age of patients served.
