Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you’ll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.

Location: Mt. Clemens, MI; 13 week travel assignment with regional float. Competitive benefits package and travel support included.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
• State license and NMTCB certification.
• Minimum 2 years’ nuclear medicine technologist experience, including cardiac imaging.
• BLS (AHA) certification prior to start.
• Experience preparing radiopharmaceuticals and operating SPECT/planar cameras.
• Adherence to radiation safety protocols and documentation.

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you’ll be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
• State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine in the state of Michigan, or eligibility to obtain required state licensure.
• Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (NMTCB) required.
• Minimum 2 years’ nuclear medicine technologist experience, including cardiac imaging experience required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required prior to start. (Preferred if already current.)
• Experience preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and operating SPECT/planar nuclear medicine cameras.
• Ability to adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain required documentation.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift: Days.
• Shift days: Monday - Friday.
• Shift hours: 7:0am - 3:00pm.
• Float requirement: Candidate will float between two offices within the region as needed.
• Assignment duration: 13 week travel assignment.
