Job summary

Good Shepherd Health Care System in Oregon seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures and image acquisition, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

The role requires an accredited nuclear medicine degree with OBMI & ARRT registration and current BLS certification. Prior experience is welcome but not required; a 2-year preference is noted. The position supports the Diagnostic Imaging department on day shifts.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate or bachelor’s degree from nuclear medicine accredited program.
• OBMI and ARRT registered nuclear medicine technologist. Current BLS certification.
• Experience: none required; preferred 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures and image acquisition.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintains equipment, supplies and quality control across the imaging workflow.
• Participates in department quality assessment and education.
