Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT).
• CPR/BLS.
• MRT with the Texas Board.

Responsabilités

• Performs nuclear medicine and radiographic exams following established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient and equipment positioning.
• Select appropriate nuclear medicine and radiographic techniques.
• Process and display NM data on workstation platforms.
• Perform daily QA of NM schedule to address conflicts and obtain results.
• Provide excellent care and service to patients.
• Explain exams, medications, radiation safety, and positioning to patients.
• Demonstrate IV skills and placement of EKG leads.
• Explain procedures to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation.
• Track patients from exam start to discharge.
• Review exam notes and referrals for special instructions.
• Verify that images and documents transmit to PACS per policy.
