Job summary

AdventHealth in Sebring is seeking a part-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform and supervise a range of imaging procedures with radiology support. You will ensure quality control, assist with camera acquisition, and maintain patient care continuity.

Certifications like BLS, RT(R)(ARRT) or CNMT are required, with preferred Associate or Bachelor degrees. Responsibilities include room readiness, software use (Cerner, RadWorks, PACS), and safety protocols to ALARA.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of human physiology.
• Knowledge of Scintigraphy equipment, Acquisition computers, and processing stations.
• Knowledge of Hot Lab equipment.
• Ability to learn and master new tasks related to Image Quality and Radiation Safety.
• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English.

Responsibilities

• Ensures equipment meets all quality control requirements and performs patient examinations.
• Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care.
• Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures with camera acquisition and computer processing.
• Maintains room readiness and documents work orders for malfunctioning equipment.
