Job Description

Position: Nuclear Medicine Physician.

Department: Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, University of Maryland Medical Center.

Location: University of Maryland, Baltimore.

Responsibilities
  • Interpretation of general and cardiovascular nuclear medicine procedures, PET/CT, PET/MR, and radionuclide therapies.
  • Extensive teaching of nuclear medicine and radiology residents.
  • Contribute to research, teaching, and publications in the fields of PET oncology, molecular imaging, and theranostics.
Qualifications

Board certification: ABNM or ABNM/ABR dual certified.

Minimum of 2 years of clinical and research experience.

Track record of research, teaching, and publications.

State license required to practice. Board certification required. Job will be performed in hospital.

Salary range: $398,000–440,000.

Faculty Position

The Nuclear Medicine residency program is ACGME accredited with 5 positions and requires extensive teaching of residents.
