Under general supervision, performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures with radioisotope and radiation detection methods.
Executes basic clinical competence in nuclear medicine technology across all locations, prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals, processes data, and provides images and analysis to physicians for diagnostic interpretation.
Actively participates in the Clinical Ladder Program, meeting and maintaining all program standards and requirements.
Applies knowledge of nuclear medicine principles and practices, including anatomy and physiology, radiation protection and physics, quality assurance, positioning and patient care skills, ensuring safety in storage and delivery of radiopharmaceuticals, and adhering to regulatory compliance standards.
Documents accurate patient care activity in electronic health records.
Maintains a safe and appropriate work environment, managing supplies and inventory, notifying colleagues when supplies need ordering, and reporting equipment or environmental issues per policy.
Participates in departmental and organizational performance improvement initiatives, workflow enhancements, patient experience projects, and educational activities.
