Job summary

Health Here in Tulsa, OK is seeking a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist for the day shift. You will coordinate radiopharmaceuticals for patient procedures, administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for imaging and therapy, and explain imaging procedures to patients.

You will also help maintain high imaging quality and positioning. The role requires ARRT registration with advanced nuclear medicine certification or NMTCB certification, or graduation from an approved school with

Qualifications

• ARRT registration with advanced certification in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB certification.
• Registry eligibility with plan to obtain certification within one year.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate radiopharmaceuticals for patient procedures.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for imaging and therapeutic procedures.
• Explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Maintain high standards of imaging quality and positioning.
• Operate the PACS Computer System proficiently.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Assist with other departmental activities as needed.

Qualifications Include

• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) with advanced certification in Nuclear Medicine or certification through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (N.M.T.C.B.), or graduation from an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology with registry eligibility.
• If registry-eligible upon hire, registration must be obtained within one year.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
