Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist to perform high quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging while providing compassionate patient care. You will administer radiopharmaceuticals under radiologist supervision, follow established protocols, and monitor patients throughout exams.

The role emphasizes safety, patient communication, and collaboration with physicians and staff. The ideal candidate has ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification, a state license, venipuncture and BLS

Qualifications

• ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification required.
• State Nuclear Medicine License required.
• Venipuncture certification/permit required.
• BLS certification required.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT images while delivering excellent patient care.
• Follow established nuclear medicine protocols and procedures.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals under radiologist supervision.
• Guide patients through the exam process with clear explanations.
• Monitor patient well-being and respond to discomfort or issues during exams.

When you join us as a Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21 st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will

• Perform high quality nuclear medicine and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography images on patients while providing excellent care.
• Follow company established nuclear medicine protocols and procedures.
• Under the direction of the radiologist, administer radiopharmaceuticals to detect or treat diseases using radioisotopes.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Monitor patients’ well- being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

• ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification
• State Nuclear Medicine License.
