Job summary

Hmixray is seeking a Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist to perform high-quality imaging and deliver excellent patient care at our radiology centers. You will follow established protocols, guide patients through exams, and ensure safety and professionalism in every interaction.

The role requires ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification, a state license, venipuncture and BLS, with preferred 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience. Join a team committed to quality and patient-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

  • ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification required.
  • State Nuclear Medicine License required.
  • Venipuncture certification/permit required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high quality nuclear medicine and/or PET/CT images on patients.
  • Follow established nuclear medicine protocols and procedures.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals under radiologist direction.
  • Guide patients through procedures and address questions and concerns.
  • Monitor patients' well-being during exams; respond to discomfort or problems.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Safeguard patient property and PHI.
  • Safeguard on-site medications per policy and legal requirements.
  • Respect company property and patient information on-site and portals.
  • Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
  • Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

When you join us as a Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will:
  • Perform high quality nuclear medicine and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography images on patients while providing excellent care.
  • Follow company established nuclear medicine protocols and procedures.
  • Under the direction of the radiologist, administer radiopharmaceuticals to detect or treat diseases using radioisotopes.
  • Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Monitor patients' well- being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:
  • ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification
  • State Nuclear Medicine License.
  • Must have venipuncture certification/permit.

  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Pay Range:

$64.00-$85.00/ Per Hour
