Qualifications

With eight outpatient locations and hospital partnerships across Chicagoland, we provide advanced diagnostics and treatments, including EEG, EMG, MRI, Botulinum injections, and infusion therapy.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology or a related field
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • Maintains a current IEMA license and complies with yearly CME regulations
  • 5 years of experience as a PET/CT Technologist
  • Thorough understanding of PET/CT scanning techniques, patient care, radiation safety, and equipment operation
  • Experience in operating PET/CT imaging equipment and handling radiopharmaceuticals
  • CPR certification

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform/obtain and review laboratory values for patients receiving radiopharmaceuticals and IV contrast
  • Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals following established protocols
  • Operate PET/CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns
  • Screen for contraindications and ensure patient comfort
  • Monitor patients during imaging to ensure safety and comfort
  • Ensure radiation safety and patient safety, including proper handling of radioactive materials and contrast agents
  • Order, prepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols
  • Accurately maintains patient records within eClinical Works (ECW) system
  • Monitor medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
