Job summary

Solaris Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the United States to perform radiopharmaceutical procedures and operate nuclear imaging equipment. You will document patient information, ensure safety, and collaborate with physicians to deliver timely results.

The role requires ARRT or NMTCB certification, BLS, and an Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree and one year of experience.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology preferred.
  • 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technology experience required.
  • ARRT or NMTCB certification required; state license as applicable.
  • BLS required; ACLS preferred.
  • Knowledge of EMR and health care system operations.

Responsibilities

  • Documents patient information according to department policies.
  • Records radiopharmaceutical administration and related required documentation.
  • Prepares, measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Operates imaging equipment according to established procedures.
  • Prepares images for interpretation by completing post processing protocols.
  • Utilizes radiation safety methods for patients, visitors and staff.
  • Complies with HIPAA regulations and safety policies.
  • Performs equipment calibration and quality control testing.
  • Assists patients and family with information and comfort.
