Job Description: Nuclear Medicine Exercise Physiologist (Per Diem)

Join Cape Cod Healthcare as a Nuclear Medicine Exercise Physiologist (Per Diem).

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and evaluate EKG tracings before, during, and after exercise testing.
2. Supervise and coordinate exercise testing protocols, document changes in patient status, treatments, or prescribed medications, and response to treatment.
3. Evaluate patients for stress testing, review patient charts, and interpret physician orders.
4. Terminate tests as required by protocol or patient tolerance.
5. Document changes in patient status, treatments, or prescribed medications and response to treatment.
6. Coordinate and schedule stress techs to ensure adequate staffing levels.
7. Initiate service calls as needed and schedule preventative maintenance.
8. Evaluate supply levels and order supplies as needed.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science.
• Successful passage of Basic Arrhythmia Program or challenge exam.
• Certification in BLS.
• Previous experience in Nuclear Medicine is preferred.

Position Details:

• Under the direction of the Nurse Practitioner and supervising Physician, responsible for all aspects of exercise and chemical stress testing.
• Per Diem hours, Monday to Friday, no weekends or holidays.
• Location: Hyannis, Massachusetts, at Cape Cod Hospital.
