Summary
Position Highlights:
Under the broad direction of the Radiologist, the Supervisor of Nuclear Medicine/PET and the Diagnostic Imaging Center Manager, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist shall perform both diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures on selective portions of the anatomy as requested by the clinician. Responsible for the receipt, preparation, utilization, and administration of radioactive materials as determined by state and federal laws and department guidelines. Reviews and verifies that the QA performed in unit doses received from outside vendors and equipment meets department and state guidelines. Must contribute to the overall department productivity and operation.
Must be able to work scheduled and "ON CALL" hours and be available to work in multiple sites/locations as appropriate.
